Best Friend Friday: Beatrix & Midge
Adorable animal video sites like The Dodo are pretty much why the Internet was invented. Of course, there's always a balance with everything; you can't just go and watch them all day long or else you cannot function as an everyday contributing member of society. The heroin of the World Wide Web, essentially. From your aunt to that dude you talked to twice in college who you now un-followed because of all the political propaganda he posts, unless you're a serial killer, everyone on Facebook has fallen down the cute animal video rabbit hole. Ever read Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace? The Dodo could be "The Entertainment" to you (oh, what's that? You haven't read Infinite Jest? Well funny, here's a "Here Comes Everybody" episode on it).
However, I will say anything in moderation is good (with one of the exceptions being heroin, so maybe that analogy wasn't the best option) and that's why I'm presenting to you "Best Friend Friday", where you can get your fur baby fix just once a week, right here, on The Keystone Statement.
So let's kick this puppy off (not literally and pun not intended) with Midge & Beatrix here, super cool BFFs of epic proportions.
And just in case you do feel like watching more at your own risk, here's a link to The Dodo. I'm telling you, it's dangerous.
Great, now I feel like a veteran drug pusher ("hey, you can have this half gram of coke on the house, but now you know where to get it, right?")
