Hey 2018, The Keystone Statement Is Like A 1970's Hobo & This Song Sums It Up
I figured I was safe in making this the first post of 2018 the day after New Year's considering Marcus only posts like once a week. Plus, Lloyd Christmas has better odds of shacking up with Mary Samsonite than the Keystone Statement does of getting a Marcus post on a holiday (heyyyyyy ohhhhh).
But what a fantastic tune this is. I listened to this song like six times this morning (update: seven times). Dean Martin's just singing about being a hobo, rambling from town to town, thumbing for rides and leaving on the lam. Shit you can't do anymore unless you want to risk being made into a human purse or at the very least being fleeced of your $20 in cash and your Starbucks card, you yuppy bastard.
See, the Keystone Statement is kind of like a 1970's hobo. We don't make any money (yet), we run into an eclectic mix of folks and writers, some come and some go, but listen here people, we take a lot of pride in what we are. 2018's gonna be big or at least a hell of a lot bigger than 2017. Thanks for your patronage, Let's party.
