Malkin Was Hilariously Justified In Scaring That Fan

Malkin Was Hilariously Justified In Scaring That Fan

From Tyler Conway via Bleacher Report:

"Fan-captured video from after Saturday night's Game 3 Stanley Cup Final matchup appears to show Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin threatening a Nashville Predators supporter with his stick.

Twitter user Will Brown shared the video (via 120 Sports), which features Malkin lifting his stick in the direction of a fan who was among those throwing towels at Penguins players as they left the ice:"

Relax, bloggers. Malkin's getting a little social justice shade thrown his way, here. "Threatens" seems a little overblown. I'd say there's a solid four feet between Malkin's stick and that fan's face from getting any sort of connection. Geno knew what he was doing,

You ever go to the Pittsburgh Zoo and look through the little window at the gorillas? Those gorillas consider your gawking eyes very much like a heckling fan throwing towels at them and guess what they do? They tap punch the window to scare the piss out of you.

Pretty clear this is one of those moments. He's getting that fan to flinch, and what's more effective than a professional hockey player wielding a hockey stick? That three feet of distance between the fan and Malkin is the glass protecting your melon from getting leveled off by a primate. I'd say the fan got off lucky considering the fact Malkin (and Crosby) went shotless in Game 3.

To balance out the Malkin feng shui, let's take a look at more of Geno's more Benny HIll-esque moments:

We'll see ya tonight, Preds.
