Introducing TRL Tuesday

Introducing TRL Tuesday

So nothing really happens on a Tuesday. You don't get a whole lot of feelings about the second day of the work week except the realization of "ah...it's Tuesday". Tacos try to make something happen, and I'll say it's a hell of an effort, but Tuesday is Tuesday no matter how you dress it up.

Well, let's make the most of it I say with a late 90s music video and call it here, at least on The Keystone Statement (and maybe amongst your dwindling group of friends who are busy getting married and popping out kids), "TRL Tuesday".  But first, let's see who was on the actual TRL almost 19 years ago to the date:

TRL 09/14/98

1. Backstreet Boys - I'll Never Break Your Heart (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 1[1])
2. 'N Sync - Tearin' Up My Heart (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 2)
3. Aaliyah f/ Timbaland - Are You That Somebody? (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 3)
4. Aerosmith - I Don't Want to Miss A Thing (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 4)
5. Will Smith - Just the Two of Us (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 5)
6. Marilyn Manson - The Dope Show (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 6)
7. Usher- My Way (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 7)
8. The Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 8)
9. Monica - The First Night (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 9)
10. Monster Magnet - Space Lord (1st Day / DEBUT / Peak: 10)

Hey, 13-year old me remembers not being able to watch those at the DeAngelo household. Now, to cap off each week I'll throw a video up here to really give you the full Daly effect. Here's The Verve with "Bitter Sweet Symphony" (watch as he shoulder checks like 30 different people):
